Brown of the County & State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said Squier Patison and Mary Jane his wife for and in consideration of the sum of Eighty dollars to them in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby granted bargained Sold and Convey unto the Said Willis G. Brown his heirs and assigns forever all that tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the County and State aforesaid being the SE fourth of the SE qr. of Section No. 21 Township 55 Range 12 West Containing forty acres more or less together with all and Singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appurtaining To have and to hold the above described premises unto the said Willis G. Brown his heirs and assigns forever and the Said Squier Patison and Mary Jane Patison his wife the aforesaid premises unto the Said Willis G. Brown his heirs and assigns against the Claim or Claims of all persons whomsoever. In Testimony whereof we have hereunto Set our hands and Seals the day and year above written. Brown State of Missouri County of Monroe This is to Certify that Squier Patison and Mary Jane Patison his wife personally appeared before the undersigned a Justice of the peace of Marion Township in the County and State aforesaid and Subscribed their names to the foregoing instrument of writing and acknowledged the Same to be their act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned the Said Squier Patison and Mary Jane Patison his wife being personally known to me to be the persons whose names is subscribed to the foregoing deed.
