Monroe City News    19 April 1888
Married-At the residence of Mrs. M. M.  Owen,  in  this  city,  Thursday,
April 12th, 1888, Mr. E. J. Crawford and Miss Ada Sowers, the Rev. J.  S.
Green officiating in his usual pleasant manner. After  the  ceremony  the
newly wedded people, together with a lot of friends, went by carriage  to
the residence of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Crawford, the groom's parents,  where
a reception was tendered them. They start out life with bright prospects,
and the News trusts their married life will be  fully  as  happy  as  was
anticipated in their days of courtship.
