Monroe City News   2 August 1877
Miss Margaret Edwards, of this place, died on the  evening  of  the  26th
ult., after a long and painful illness, aged 38 years. Her  remains  were
taken to Bethlehem Church, in Ralls county, on  the  following  day,  and
interred in the cemetery adjoining the church. A funeral sermon  will  be
preached at Bethlehem on the second Sunday in this month by  Rev.  B.  F.
Hixson. Miss Edwards was a sister of Mrs. A. R. Gorrell of this city.
