For the past twelve years, the deceased has been an invalid, and during the past two years has been unable to leave her home, but during all this time, no word of complaint or murmuring was ever heard to escape her lips, this being a marvel to all who knew her afflictions, and the writer can truthfully testify to the many lessons learned by association with this good women. She often expressed herself as being willing to go to a world where sufferings are no more, she was surrounded by a glorious sunset, and when the death dew was dampening her brown, she was watched over by loving hearts, and cared for by willing hands, that had, during all these years, been ever ready to administer to her wants. She was a noble woman--a kind and indulgent Wife and Mother--A friend in sickness and distress, and a genial desirable neighbor, her death is sad, causing deepest sorrow to all who knew her, and kept in touch with her everyday.
