Used by permission dated 28 Sep 2004. ==================================================================== Delp Cemetery T23, R14, S17 Route Z south to 850, right to cemetery near D855 junction Delp Cemetery is located across from land settled by the James Henderson Delp family, who came to the area in 1888 from Kyle's Ford, TN. The cemetery first consisted of two plots, and several years ago, Dean Haskins, a sixth generation descendant of James H. and Sarah Jane Delp, cleared the area and installed a fence to combine the burial grounds. Ahigh arched gate, with name cast in metal, has been installed at the entrance by Baker relatives. Four graves are marked head and foot with cotonrocks, and there may be other burials unmarked.
