Gen. & Historical Society ==================================================================== Upton Burial Ground T23, R13, S23 Route AA, 2 miles east of 181 junction, then north on private road This burial ground is overgrown, and the access road is in poor condition. Walking or a four-wheel drive vehicle would be required. The land here was first settled by Daniel and Linnie (Luna) Upton. Daniel Upton is buried here, but his wife is buried at Smith Chapel. The land is now owned by Basil and Norma Hannaford. There are several unmarked graves. Those with headstones are: LUNA, G (?). M., son of J. F. and M.
