Gronholt Cemetery, Phelps County, Missouri From St. James, MO take Hwy B North to County Road 1130. The Cemetery is along the right hand side of the road. No signs or markings indicate there is a cemetery there. I happened to see a large headstone in the middle of the woods next to the road. The Cemetery is very over grown. I don't believe anyone has been there in years. Is all woods and weeds. You must climb a broken down fence. I found 5 stones. There were 6 or 8 Yuck plants around where I believe there were probably graves but no stones remained. Several stones were broken and worn completely away. Sad grave yard - no one to remember any more. I catalogued this cemetery on September 21, 2003 Gooch, Emma, b. Nov. 167, 1879, d. Jul. 29, 1880, baby Gronholt, Carol, b. Oct. 9, 18__, d.
