GRACE AND FLOY BEEZLEY DIE WITHIN SEVEN DAYS Obituary of Floy E. Beezley Floy E. Beezley, son of Joel A. and Martha Ann Beezley, was born April 4, 1894 near Steelvile, Miss- ouri, died November 15, 1959, age 65 years, 7 months and 10 days. He was married to Bess Shep- herd on February 5, 1916 and to this union three children were born, Joel E. Beezley of Hursboro, Alabama, Mrs. Wanda Copeland of Saint James and Mrs. Harriett Weiss of Jefferson City, Missouri. On February 4, 1953 his wife, Bess passed on to her eternal reward. He later married Miss Grace Bird of Auburn, Illinois. Grace preceded him in death one week ago on November 8, 1959. Floy was a member of the First Church of God in Saint James. He was converted early in life and has been a loyal and devoted christian, faithful to his church and to his Master. He served many years as Sunday School Superin- tendent and was a member of the Board of Trustees and for 14 years as Secretary-Treasurer of the church. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a member of The Order of the Eastern Star. For 39 years he carried the mail on Rural Route No. 1 and served one year as State President of the Rural Letter Carriers Association. Besides his children, he leaves several grandchildren and one great-grandchild, two brothers, Arlie A. Beezley of Steelville and Jewell H. Beezley of Springfield, Ohio. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, November 17 at 2 p.m. at the First Church of God with J. D. Thomason, E. D. Johnson and J. A. Morrison officiating.
