Arlie A. Beezley Mr. Arlie A. Beezley, a well known Crawford and Phelps County resident, was born February 6, 1906 to the late Joel and Martha Beezley, and passed away April 25, 1973, at the Phelps County Memorial Hospital at the age of 67 years. Mr. Beezley was born on the Beezley farm 12 miles south of St. James where he lived and had been engaged in farming and livestock for the past 23 years. In 1929 in Jefferson City, Missouri he was united in marriage to Rebul Marcellus. Mr. Beezley was a member of the First Church of God and Masonic Lodge in St. James and served on the Board of Trustees of the First Church of God and was President of the Board of Federal Land Bank, Rolla, Missouri. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife, Rebul and one brother, Jewel Beezley of Fort Wayne, In- diana. Mr. Beezley was highly respected by all who knew him and will be sadly missed by his loving family and friends. Funeral services were con- ducted Saturday, April 28, 1973 at 11 a.m. at the First Church of God with Gayle Van Asdale officiating. Miss Nikki Gahr was the soloist, accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Jesse Gahr. Interment was in the Masonic Cemetery of St. James. The pallbearers were Henry Kemnitzer, Wendell Klossner, Parry Wycoff, Don Gruver, Tommy Bowen and Charles Henry Emory. Arrangements were under the direction of the James-Gahr Mortuary in St. James.
