St James Journal, March 4, 1910" "Gone to Rest" After a prolonged illness, Mrs. Delila Chambers quietly passed away at her home near Light, MO Friday, 23 February 1910 at 7:30 pm aged 39 years, 2 months, and 16 days. The deceased is the daughter of J.H and R.L. Moreland. She was married to James Chambers 5 August 1888. To this union were born 8 children - six sons and 2 daughters. 4 sons and 1 daughter preceded their mother to the great beyond. Mrs. Chambers was identified with the Baptist Church. She leaves a husband and 3 children, Mrs. George Hodge of Cadmus, Coy and Arthur, a mother, 7 brothers and 3 sisters. The surviving brothers and sisters are: R.F, J.B, W.B Moreland, and Mrs. M. Bailey of Light, W.C. Moreland of Broadway, Mrs. John Romine of Macedonia, J.R. Moreland and Mrs. R. Storey of St James, E.E. and Arthur Moreland of St. Louis. Funeral was conducted at the Residence Saturday Pm. Burial at Macedonia Cemetery. ..A Friend
