Rolla, Missouri
March 30, 1895

Little MAGGIE MAY DILLON, who was born Oct. 31, 1890, died after about nine 
days illness, of congestion of the brain, March 27, at 2 o'clock a.m. 1895. Her 
little brother, CARL, just preceded her to that heavenly land two weeks to a 
day.  She leaves one brother, ELMER, and father and mother, with a host of 
relatives and friends to mourn her loss.  MAGGIE was the very picture of health 
and a lovely little girl.

"But lovely of loveliest things are they,
On earth that soonest pass away;
The rose that blooms its little hour
Is prized beyond the sculptored flower."

The funeral services were conducted by Rev. W.C. Willey at 4 o'clock, March 27, 
at the Wishon Cemetery.

*She was buried 2 hours after she died; apparently of a contagious disease. 
Very sad.
