Elmer Earnest Gruner
 
    Mr. Elmer Earnest Gruner
was born September 29, 1891, to
the late H. E. Gruner and Effie
B. Hartman.  He passed away
April 23, 1973 at Owensville,
Missouri, at the age of 81 years.
    Mr. Gruner was born at Bem, 
Missouri and has lived for the 
past 50 years in Owensville.  his
profession was a salesman.  He
was united in marriage to Celia
May Bullington on March 8, 1916
at Oak Hill, Missouri.
    He was preceded in death by
one son in infancy and one
brother Earl.  Surviving
brothers and sisters are Edna
Sounder, Bill Gruner, Minnie
Fell, George Gruner, Letha
Pope, Amy Miller, Courtnea
Thomas and Mayme Knehaus.
    Services were conducted
April 26, 1973, at the Got-
tenstreater Funeral Home in 
Owensville, Missouri.  Rev.
Edward W. Coller, pastor of the
Owensville Presbyterian
Church presided at the funeral.
