Two years ago she was injured from a fall while in St. Louis from the effects of which she never recovered. Mrs. Horgan came to Rolla with her first husband in 1859, and until a few years ago lived on a farm on the Licking road 4 miles south of town. Four children are left to mourn her death: Daniel and Edward Murphy, Miss Maggie Murphy and Mrs. Johanna Wallace of St. Louis. The remains were brought to Rolla Thursday and after services at the Catholic Church by Rev. Father O'Laughlin, were placed at rest in the family plot in the Rolla cemetery. Additional Comments: Margaret was born 1835 in Ireland to John Hartnett and Ellen Cashman. She married her first husband, Cornelius Murphy about 1857 and they lived in Illinois for a time until moving to Rolla.
