WILLIAM PATRICK LEDBETTER (PAT)        
William Patrick Ledbetter, 73, of Qulin, died Wednesday, Sept., 18, 1985 at
Phelps County Hospital, Rolla.

The son of Robert Luke and Mary Katherine Ledbetter, he was  born  May  24,
1912 at Ash Hill. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a retired carpenter.

He married (1) Minnie Opal Hall, (2)Violet Fischer

His is survived by four daughters, Junental "June" DeGeare of  High  Ridge;
Patricia "Patsy" Walton of Annapolis; Mary  Agnes  Hudson  of  Newburg  and
Gwendolyn Weston of Qulin; five sons,  William  "Sonny"  Ledbetter  of  St.
Louis;  Robert  "Bobby"  Ledbetter  of  St.  Louis;  Kenneth  Ledbetter  of
Palesting, Il.; Allen Ledbetter of Granite City, Il. and Richard  Ledbetter
of Ferguson; three step children, Dorothy Dacus of St. Louis; W.C. Dacus of
Granite City, Il. and David Dacus of Spanish Lake, o.; one  sister,  Phoebe
SEdrick of Tucson, Az; 32 grandchildren adn 14 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by, Two children Wayne and Jane Ledbetter, his wife
Violet a brother Ernest Zander "Bill" Ledbetter a sister Mary Belle Melton,
and his parents.


Funeral services were held Saturday,  Sept  21,  1985  at  Landess  Funeral
Chapel. Rev. Milford Bazzell was the officiating minister.  Burial  was  in
Gravel Hill Cemetery, St. Francis, Ark. Landess of Campbess was  in  chareg
of arrangements.
