Rolla Daily News, Wednesday, Oct 18, 1967, page 3: Mrs. Elva McCulley dies at age 79 - Mrs. Elva May McCulley, 79, Route 2, died at her home Tuesday afternoon. She was born at Ganola, Kansas, August 6, 1888. Mrs. McCulley resided here most of her life. She was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Theodore Miller and Robert Miller, both of Rolla; one daughter, Mrs. Annie Cale, of St. James, a sister, Mrs. Marie Elms of Lawrence, Kansas; 20 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at Null and Son Chapel at 2 p.m., Thursday by the Rev. Charles Casteel. Burial will be in Ozark Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be six grandsons, Theodore, Carl, Thomas, and George Miller, Floyd and Lloyd Cale. (Elva Head married (lst) to John A. Moreland (5 Oct 1911), (2nd) Robert Miller (3rd) Edward E. McCulley. Her parents were: William and Georgia Ann (Laney) Head. Elva was a sister to Ollie M. Head (Sneed) Murphy.)
