WATTS CEMETERY, Pike County, Missouri Located on Hwy. WW , near the Clopton School We were last there to clean and document the cemetery on March 22, 2004. 1. Elizabeth Watts (nee Jacoby), (vault) wife of John Watts, b. July 4, 1777, d. February 14, 1847 2. John Watts, (vault) b. circa 1766, d. October 10, 1839 3. Leonice (nee Jacoby), wife of W. W. W. Watts, b. November 25, 1812, d. April 17, 1863, age 50 years, 4 months and 23 days 4. Unknown person, a shattered stone within the same rock wall that holds Leonice’s stone & grave. It might be her husband, Wilkerson (W. W. W.) Watts, or a child of theirs. 5. James Watts, son of W. W. W. & L. Watts, born April 26, 1844 and died August 23, 1845. Aged 1 year, 3 months and 27 days. 6. Washington W. Watts, b. December 4, 1815, d. September 4, 1860 7. Mary E. (nee Gray), wife of Washington Watts, stone broken, portions missing, no dates 8. Elizabeth M. Watts, daughter of Washington & Mary Watts, b. January 22, 1838, d. August __, 1851, age 16 years, ___ months and 11 days (Stone damaged) 9. John ______ Watts, (vault) writing barely legible, dates illegible 10. Frances Watts, (vault) could barley read the name, dates not legible 11. Harriet Frances Wilson Manerva Steele, b. April 4, 1853, d. April 26, 1888 12. Julia A. Linn, Consort of J. S. Linn, daughter of Francis & Eleanor H. Watts, d. October 23, 1860, age 23 years, 7 months and 2 days 13. James S. Linn, b. February 5, 1832, d. May 6, 1872, age 40 years, 3 months and 1 day 14. Unknown person, (vault) writing looks like McDaniel, or possibly McDowell 15. Unknown person, (vault) with illegible writing, possibly Lemmon Outside of the main cemetery is a cut stone, marking someone, or something. No markings on the stone. This cemetery contains vaults, like those found in old Virginia cemeteries. The Watts family came from Virginia, to Kentucky and finally to Missouri.
