She was immaculate about her dress, about her talk and her actions. She was the oldest of the family of children born to Henry W. and Josephine Brady Bonnell. Miss Maud was a pleasant person, had a quick wit and enjoyed people thoroughly. She took a keen delight in many of the activities around Weston and one of her favorites was the Weston Museum. With other family members she planned a case at the museum in memory and in honor of their parents. She helped with the selection of the many mementoes that went into making it one of the popular cases in the museum. She was born on July 31, 1875 on the farm known as the Jonathan Bonnell and spent her entire life in the community. Miss Maud was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist church and a long time member of the Swamp Club. Survivors are two sisters, Miss Fannie Bonnell of the home and Mrs. Josephine Davidson of Dearborn and a brother, Herbert Bonnell, also of the home. Rev. Randall Harvey will conduct services Friday at the Vaughn Chapel with Mrs. C.R. Hall as soloist and L.R. Vaughn at the organ.
