Mrs. Jessie Risk Doyle was born February 22 1901 in the Weston area and died in 
St. Paul Minnesota on September 2, 1976.
Mrs. Doyle was the daughter of the late Frank and Mattie Rose Risk, a 
grandaughter of Samuel and Mary Benner Risk and a great grandaughter of 
Elkanieh and Deliliah Sewell Risk, who were among the first pioneers to settle 
in this vicinity in the late 1830's.
Surviving Mrs. Doyle is a son Oliver Doyle, four granchildren and one great 
grandson, all of Portland, Oregon.
Mrs. Doyle, who made her last trip to Weston this past June, had mader her home 
in St. Paul for the past 40 years. On her visit here last summer, she was a 
guest of her cousins, Mrs. W.L. Rardin and Mrs. Berniece Shouse. She enjoyed 
visiting her former home and all the places she loved as a child.
Funeral services with burial in Oak Land Cemetery, were held in St. Paul.
