Mrs. George died Monday, August 31 at her home in Platte City. Rev. Mel Lantz officiated at the services. Organist was Mrs. Mary Miller. Narcissa Pearl Dooley was born October 5, 1908 in Weston, the daughter of the late R.D. and Beulah Dooley. She was educated in Weston schools and graduated from the Camden Point High School. She was a member of the Platte City First Baptist Church for 32 years. Mrs. George was a friendly, outgoing lady, who never knew a stranger. She had a number of friends in Weston from her school days, and kept up with all of them, enjoying visits back and forth over the years. She was preceded in death by her husband, William George. Survivors are five sons, Dooley George, John George, Phil George, Stan George and James George, all of Platte City; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Reiff, Shawnee Mission, Kansas, and Mrs. Judy Fogler, St. Joseph; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Jenkins, Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Clara Stephenson, Dalton, Ga.; and 12 grandchildren.
