Terrell, 61, died Thurday morning at a St. Joseph hospital following an heroic struggle against her disease. She had been in critical condition for the past few weeks. A native of Pattonsburg, Mo. Mrs. Terrell and her husband farmed in the Dearborn - Edgerton area since 1935. She was a member of the Edgerton Mount Zion Baptist Church. Following the death of her sister, Mrs. James Crockett of Weston, ahe and her family took in the 6 month old twins, Robin and Ricky Crokett and raised the youngsters along with their four daughters. They also helped care for other nieces and nephews who were older at the time and stayed in Weston with their father. Survivors are her husband, Mr. Clark Terrell of the home; four daughters, Mrs. Wava Scott of Kearney, Mo., Mrs. Mary Bodenhausen and Mrs. Nancy Assell, both of Gower, and Mrs. Carol Herdman of Kansas City, Mo; her mother, Mrs. Florence Taylor, Kansas City; a sister, Mrs. Opal Pate of Kidder, Mo.; two brothers, Artie Bryant, Rushville and William Bryant, Kansas City; a half-brother, Jimmie Taylor of Kansas City, and nine grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held Saturday at 1:10 pm at the Hixson Funeral Home at Gower. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery at Weston.
