Miss Lena Lee Cook was born December 14, 1890 in Calleo, Mo. to Thomas and 
Amanda Cook. On May 5, 1917 she was married to Roy Price Tillerson in Macon, 
Mo. and died early November 22, 1974 in the Boone County Hospital.
The family moved to Weston in 1932 where they were active and faithful members 
of the Baptist Church in Weston, of all school and civic activities. Weston 
friends and neighbors were often recipients of the kindness of the Tillersons.
Mrs. Tillerson became seriously ill and was hospitalized in St. Joseph for a 
time before moving to a nursing home in Centralia, Mo. in September. Her only 
son and his wife Mr. and Mrs. Roy Bernard Tillerson were able to visit with her 
the past few weeks before returning to their home in Angola, West Africa last 
Tuesday.
Other survivors are her husband and a daughter, Mrs. Doris Rae Kriz of 
Columbia. Another daughter died in infancy. Four grandchildren, Mrs. Kathy 
Marshall of Kingsville, Texas; David Kriz, Joliet, Ill; Barbara and Michael 
Kriz of Columbia also survive.
Funeral services will be Monday at 11am in Calleo. The body is at the Bram-
Carney Funeral Chapel and the family asks for donation to the Cancer Society in 
lieu of flowers.
