Married, on the 30th day of  October,  1878,  at  the  residence  of  the
bride's father, by Rev. Mr. Wheat, Mr. James H. Pence, of New London, and
Miss Amanda B. Seward, of Athens, Clark county, Mo.

Hickman-Jones-On December 4th at the residence  of  the  bride's  father,
near DeMoss Chapel, by Rev. H. W. James, Mr. Joseph Hickman, of  Florida,
Mo., and Miss Mattie A. Jones.
Goodnight-Jones-At the same time and place,  Mr.  Thomas  Goodnight,  and
Miss Willie A. Jones, all of Ralls county, Mo.
Our best wishes go with the two happy couples whose lives are thus linked
together. May they always be as happy as they are today.

Melson-Crawford-At the residence of the bride's father, in Ralls  county,
on Thursday, August 14th, by Elder B. F. Hixon, Samuel J. Melson and Miss
Louisa Crawford.
