The Hannibal Journal, 4 November 1847
MARRIED,
In Rouse settlement on the 26th Sept. last, by the Rev. Allen Rouse, Mr. Jacob 
Rouse, of Monroe county, to Miss Polly Rouse of Rouseburgh, Ralls county.  The 
bridesmaid was Miss Ann Rouse, and the groomsman, Mr. John Rouse.  A Rouse-ing 
Affair.

Additional Comments:
The Hannibal Journal was published in Marion Co., MO.  In 1850 Rev. Allen 
Rouse is located in Ralls Co.; therefore, Rouse settlement is probably located 
there.  Also Jacob and Polly Rouse are living in Ralls Co., MO, in 1850 census.
