Wood occurred at his family residence in Moberly last Saturday at 1:20 p.m. Funeral services conducted at the residenence Sunday by Rev. Campbell, and the remians were shipped to Clarence, under charge of E. B. Baker. The funeral party arrived here Sunday night on the "Eli" and went to the home of Mr. Baker until morning. The remains were taken to Union where short services were conducted at the grave by Rev. Anderson of Shelbina. Mr. Wood was 44 years old, and 21 years ago married Miss Ollie Barton who with four daughters survive. (May 2001) Date and Name of Newspaper Unknown Resolutions The following resolutions were unanimously adopted by the members of Adams Lodge No. 168, Mystic Workers of the World: Whereas, Almighty God, in His Infinite wisdom, has seen fit to remove from our midst our beloved worthy, Archie W. Wood, we deem it fitting that this order express its sympathy to the bereaved family, therefore be it. Resolved, That while we sincerely mourn the loss of our deceased Worthy, and realize that his family has lost a most devoted husband and father, we humbly bow to the will of Him that doeth all things well. Resolved, That while we shall miss him in our meetings, we shall ever remember his quiet christian life and personal worth, and pray that his loved ones may realize that it is one tie to draw them to that home above. Resolved, That we remember with affectionate sympathy the bereaved home and feel they have cause for deep sorrow, but it is a hopeful sorrow. Resolved, That these resolutions be entered upon our minutes and become a part of our records, that in memory of our lamented Worthy our charter be draped in mourning for thirty days and that a copy be sent to the bereaved family Harry R.
