Forrest Smith

Forrest Smith (1886-1962) of Missouri. Born in Ray County, Mo., February 14, 1886.
Democrat. Missouri state auditor, 1933-49; defeated, 1928; Governor of Missouri,
1949-53; delegate to Democratic National Convention from Missouri, 1952. Methodist.
Member, Freemasons; Shriners; Eagles; Elks; Knights of Pythias; Rotary. Died
March 8, 1962. Interment at Sunny Slope Cemetery, Richmond, Mo.
