Ray County, Missouri - Unknown newspaper 1920 Married Thursday Well Known Richmond Woman Becomes Bride of Excelsior Springs Man. The marriage of Mrs. Mary V. Osborne of this city to Mr. James W. Huey of Excelsior Springs was solemnized on last Thursday afternoon, April 15th, in this city, by Rev. W.P. Wynn, pastor of the Methodist church. Mr. and Mrs. Huey are at home for the present at 557 North Main Street. Mrs. Huey has been a resident of this city for many years and is one of the literary women of this section of Missouri. For a number of years she contributed to some of the leading publications in the United States. In addition to her literary work, Mrs. Huey took an active part in the Ray county W.C.T.U. work, and assisted in driving the saloons out of Ray county. Mr. Huey is one of the prominent men of Excelsior Springs, and is the father of Mr. S.J. Huey, one of the leading jewelers of that city.
