Ray County, Missouri The New York Times transcription; January 20, 1901 A Missouri Bank Defalcation Richmond, Mo., Jan. 19 - Bank Examiner Clark has finished his investigation of the Ray County Bank's affairs, to discover the amount of the alleged shortage of John W. Shotwell, Jr., the missing cashier, and has given the exact figures at $17,286.
