A large crowd of young folks were coasting on "Shotwell Hill" on Friday night, when Lindell Shoemaker happened to a very painful accident. Lindell started down the hill on his skates and the toe of the skates became entangled with a bunch of grass sticking out from the snow and ice, which tripped him and he slid down the steep hill on his face. He was rendered unconscious and was taken to his home on North Main street. He never regained consciousness, until Saturday morning, but is getting along nicely. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Jenna Zunker USGENWEB NOTICE: In keeping with our policy of providing free genealogical information on the Internet, data may be freely used for personal research and by non-commercial entities, as long as this message remains on all copied material.
