Woodson of the Medical Corps of the U.S. army, has been detailed to the Panama Canal Commission as Superintendent of the insane hospital at Corosal, Canal Zone. He is the first medical officer of the army to be appointed to the position. The position carries with it a considerable increase in salary over Mr. Woodson’s former position. He is a son of Mr. H. P.
