Ray County, Missouri - Unknown newspaper 1920 Residence Struck By Lightning The Scott Gaylord residence was struck by lightning during the electrical storm early Sunday morning, tearing the flue from the house. It is only a miracle such as is the case with lightning, that the house was not set on fire. Mr. Gaylord and son Spencer were the only occupants of the house at the time. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by Jenna Zunker USGENWEB NOTICE: In keeping with our policy of providing free genealogical information on the Internet, data may be freely used for personal research and by non-commercial entities, as long as this message remains on all copied material.
