Ray County, Missouri Obituaries - Eva Elizabeth Ball (1841-1921) The Missourian, Richmond, Missouri, April 14, 1921 Mrs. Eva Ball Dead Mrs. Eva Elizabeth Ball, who for many years made her home in Richmond, died Wednesday, April 6, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. E. Ridgell, 415 Myrtle avenue, Kansas City, Mo. Her body was brought to Richmond, Friday. Funeral services were conducted from the Presbyterian church, Friday afternoon, at three o'clock, by Rev. Raymond C. Lippard.; Interment was in the City cemetery. Mrs. Ball was a native of the Hardin vicinity and was born November 1, 1841. She was a daughter of the late David and Nancy Snowden. She was married in 1859 to Elijah Ball, whose death occurred a few years after the close of the Civil War. Mrs. Ball had made Richmond her home for the greater portion of her life, and was for many years an active worker in the Presbyterian church. She is survived by three by three (sic) daughters, Mrs. Robert Hayson and Mrs. E. E. Ridgell of Kansas City, and Mrs. R. K. Green of Winnwood Lake.
