Ray County, Missouri Obituaries - Mrs. W. H. Douglass ( -1897) Richmond Conservator, May ? 1897 Death of Mrs. W. H. Douglass Died at her home near Swanwick on Tuesday, May 25th 1897, at five o’clock p. m., Mrs. Orlena Perkins Douglass, wife of Wm. H. Douglass, after a lingering illness, aged about 50 years. The deceased had been an invalid for a long time and her death was not a surprise to her family and friends. Her maiden name was Orlena Perkins. She leaves a husband and two daughters, Mrs. Mat Cates of this city and Mr. (sic) John Parry of Hallard. Funeral was preached Wednesday afternoon by Rev. Youngeman, pastor of the Richmond circuit M. E. church after which the body was buried in the Todd’s chapel cemetery.
