Ray County, Missouri Obituaries - M. J. Dale d. September 8, 1883 Richmond Democrat 13 SEPT 1883 Death of M.J. Dale On Saturday last, the people of this community were very much saddened over the intelligence of the death of M.J. Dale, which occurred that morning at the residence of the deceased, about six miles north of Norborne. Mr. Dale was a large farmer and stock dealer and contributed very much to the prosperity of the county. Indeed he was just such a citizen as any community needs and can lily be spared. As a neighbor and man he was universally beloved and respected. No one ever went to him for a favor and was denied. He was one of the few with which we meet that are liberal to a fault. The illness of Mr. Dale was only of about a week’s duration, commencing first with bilious fever, and finally termination in congestion of the bowels and stomach. He was a son of Isaac and Elizabeth Dale and was born and raised in Ray county, Mo., and was 45 years old at the time of his death. - Norborne Independent. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives bys: Jenna Zunker USGENWEB NOTICE: In keeping with our policy of providing free genealogical information on the Internet, data may be freely used for personal research and by non-commercial entities, as long as this message remains on all copied material.
