Ray County, Missouri Obituaries - Louise Dorton UNITED METHODIST CHURCH March 27, 1982 Excelsior Springs, MO A Service of Memory for: GEORGIA LOUISE HALL 1910-1983 Louise Dorton was born December 16, 1910 in Orrick, MO the daughter of George Cleveland and Lena Ralph (Sheetz) Dorton both of Orrick. Louise passed away March 25, 1983 at the Liberty Memorial Hospital following failing health. Louise was 72 years of age. Louise was a housewife, taught school at Missouri Valley and the Orrick Public Schools, owned and operated Louise & Phil's Children Shop for 15 years, was a sales lady for the Style Shop about 5 years and last was a bookkeeper at the Royal Hotel. Louise was a member of the Excelsior Springs United Methodist Church and the former Orrick Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star now in Richmond, MO. On April 4, 1936 Louise was married to Phillip D. Hall of Orrick by Dr. Waters in Liberty, MO. Louise is survived by her husband of the home, two sisters, Mrs. "B" Munz of Kansas City, MO and Mrs. Lucile Buist of Orrick, MO. Besides her parents Louise was preceeded in death by two brothers, Sheetz Dorton in 1975 and George William Dorton in 1968. It was the family's desire that funeral services for Louise be held Sunday March 27th at the Excelsior Springs United Methodist Church with The Rev. Champ Breeden officiating.
