Mattie Moore pd. p. obit: Lawson Review Lawson, Missouri April 22, 1920 R.B. Ellington Dead. R.B. Ellington, of near Converse, died at the home of his son, George Ellington, Monday, April 12, after an illness of long duration. He was 80 yeas of age and had lived in Missouri his entire life, the greater part of which had been spent in and near Paradise. He was united in marriage to Miss Mattie Moore in the year of 1867, his wife preceeding his in death July 26, 1890. To this union eight children were born, three of whom survive: Mrs. Clara McCroskrie, of Excelsior Springs; G.E. Ellington, of Converse, and J.W. Ellington, of near Paradise. Mr. Ellington had made his home with his son, George, of Converse, for the last two years and during his residence there had many acquaintances who regret to learn of his death. Funeral services were held at the Paradise church conducted by Rev. I.T.
