Ray County, Missouri Obituaries - Mrs. R. K. Green (1867-1926) The Missourian, Richmond, Missouri, June 10, 1926 Mrs. R. K. Green The Liberty Tribune of Monday has the following to say about the death of Mrs. R. K. (Dick) Green, former Richmond citizen now residing at Winnwood Lake: Mrs. Mattie Hayes Green died Friday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Eva Higbee in Excelsior Springs. Her home was at Winnwood. She suffered a stroke of paralysis. The deceased was born in Richmond, Mo., March 13, 1867. she was a daughter of Elijah D. and Eva D. Ball and the youngest of six children, three of whom died in infancy. Two, Mrs. Nora Hayson and Mrs. Minnie Ridgell, both of Kansas City, survive. On June 15, 1881, she was united in marriage to Benjamin F. Keel. To this union were born four children--two daughters, Mrs. Nell Plock and Mrs. Eva Higbee of Excelsior Springs, and two sons, Milo F. Keel of Kansas City and Irvin C., who died at the age of two years. Eleven years ago she was united in marriage to Richard K. Green of Richmond, who survives. She united with the Presbyterian church of Richmond in early childhood. Funeral services were conducted at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Higbee, Sunday afternoon at 2:30, conducted by Rev. A. B. Coffman of Liberty.
