Lawson Review, Lawson, Missouri obit: Death of Glenn Hauser. Glenn Hauser, son of Mrs. Wm. Houser, of Polo, died Wednesday, April 14, at the home of relatives in Nelson, Mo., after an illness of only a few days. This promising young man was attending school at Fayette, and was in Nelson on a visit when he was taken sick. He was about 23 years old and served overseas in the recent world war. Death is said to have been due to a nervous breakdown. Funeral services were held in Polo Saturday morning. Burial was in the cemetery in Lawson where his father and other members of his family were laid to rest. Richmond Missourian Richmond, Missouri 1920 Former Resident Dead. William Glen Hauser Passed Away at Nelson, Mo., on April 14th. William Glen Hauser, a son of the late Wm. H. Hauser, and a native of this county, died late Wednesday afternoon, April 14th, in Nelson, Mo. His death was caused by a nervous breakdown. His body was taken to Polo, where the funeral services were conducted at ten o’clock on Saturday morning by Dr. Lynn president of Central College, at Fayette, Mo. Interment was at Lawson. Mr. Hauser was born at Lawson, Mo., on April 24th, 1896, and was in his twenty-third year. During the war he served with the 89th division in France, and was gassed, which , with the after effects of exposure of the battle fields of Argonne Forest and St. Mihiel, left him in a weakened condition. He entered Central College, at Fayette last fall, to prepare for the ministry, but was forced to leave school by the failure of his health. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. W.H. Hauser of Polo, three brothers, Miller Hauser of Ray County Savings Bank, in this city, and Herbert and Earl of Polo and vicinity, and three sisters, Mrs. Isaac Heath, Mrs. Leslie Crowley and Miss Irene Hauser, also of Polo.
