Ray County, Missouri Obituaries - Benjamin F. Hall Mr. Benjamin Franklin Hall, 721 Old Orchard, passed away Sunday morning at his home. He was 85. Mr. Hall was born March 9, 1887 on a farm northwest of Orrick. He was married to Rachel Marie Harris of Warrensburg, Missouri. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, The American Legion Clyde Gustine Post 236, member of the Disabled American Veterans Schuman-Heinke Chapter 2, Kansas, and a veteran of World War I. He owned and operated the Hall Store north of Orrick for six years. He was a retired barber and real estate salesman. Mr. Hall leaves his wife of the home, a foster son, James C. Harris, Excelsior Springs; two brothers, Roland and Phillip Hall, both of this city, four sisters, Mrs. Ruth Scott, Mrs. Millie Taylor, and Mrs. Mattie McGinnis all of Excelsior Springs and Mrs. Jewell Scott, Orrick. He also leaves two step-granddaughters. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church with the Rev. E. Tom Shuster and Rev. A. Vane Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ernest Wharton, Virgil Nunn, Kenneth Clevenger, Eugene Werle, Cecil Bates and Cecil Smith. The honorary pallbearers will be Bill Payne, William M. Goodwin, Judge A.F. Wagoner, Dr. D. B. O'Connor, Hollis Logue and Harry L. Smoot.
