Harry Holman in his 71 year, who died at his home in Richmond at 11 PM Thursday, August 27, was buried yesterday afternoon at the old city cemetery following his funeral, conducted at the Richmond Baptist Church yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock by Mayor Robert S. Lyon. Thurman Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements. A native Richmondite, he was the son of the late Ephriam and Ella (Branstetter) Holman, both of Ray County, and was born on October 6, 1871. He has lived in Richmond practically all his life. He married Miss Carrie Brand of Minnesota who survives, with one child, Fred Holman of Hardin and two grandchildren. He was a member of the Woodmen of the World and the order conducted memorial services at the church and at the grave. He was constable of Richmond Township in 1916 and made a good race for Justice of the Peace at the primary election on August 4, 1916.
