Lovell, 69, of Overland Park, died Friday, August 12, 1994, at the Shawnee Mission Medical Center. Mr. Lovell was born in Henrietta and moved to the Overland Park area in 1938. He was a food broker for Greer-Carver Foods, retiring in 1987. He was a 32nd degree Mason. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the 29th Division Association. Survivors include his wife, Ruby Lovell, of the home; three daughters, Linda Sumpter of St. Louis, Sheryl Wells of Overland Park and Barbara Phillips of Kansas City; two stepsons, Ken Blacketer and Don Blacketer of Olathe; a stepdaughter, Pam Beacham of Overland Park; and a brother, Jack Lovell of Overland Park; and eight grandchildren. Services were Monday, August 15, at Newcomer's Overland Park Chapel; burial in Mount Moriah Cemetery.
