Lake, 77, died at 4:40 a.m., Sunday, at his home at 604 S. Hill, Richmond, following a lengthy illness. He was born April 20, 1886, in Ray County, the son of James A. Lake of Ohio and Minerva (Buckley) Lake, of Ray County. He had lived in the Richmond area most of his lifetime. He was first married to Anna Pearl Brizendine of Ray County, on March 3, 1911, and she died March 3, 1948. On Oct. 10, 1953, he was married to Ida Dell Markel of Richmond, who died Jan. 27, 1958. He married Cora Patton of Richmond, Oct. 10, 1959 and she survives at the home.
