Sunny Slope Cemetery nee: Palmer com. wife of E. E. Lampton, m. June 22, 1907 Mrs. E.E. Lampton Died Pneumonia Fatal to Richmond Woman—Funeral Hold Here Saturday. Mrs. Minnie Bell Lampton, 40, wife of E.E. Lampton, 275 Cunningham St., died at St. Joseph's hospital in Kansas City, Thursday morning, January 30th after a three weeks illness of pneumonia. She had been taken to the Kansas City hospital four days previous to her death. Mrs. Lampton was born in Marshall on December 25, 1889, the daughter of M.L. and Maggie Bell Palmer. She spent her early life in that city and attended the Marshall schools. On June 22, 1907, she was united in marriage with E.E. Lampton, a native of Boone County, Mo. She is survived by her husband and five children: Carlos, Mabel, Robert, Eugene and Helen, all of the home. Two children preceded her in death. She is also survived by her father, who lives in St. Joseph, three brothers and three sisters. Mrs. Lampton was a member of the local Church of God. Funeral services were held from the Church of God here Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock, under the auspices of the Thurman Funeral Home with Rev. William Neal officiating.
