Rogers Richard Darrell Rogers, 64, of Richmond, died at 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, August 14, 1994, at Ray County Memorial Hospital in Richmond. Mr. Rogers was born April 18, 1930, in Beulah, N.D., to Alexander Wilson and Margaret Jean (Gibbons) Rogers. He married Deloras J. Love of Richmond on February 8, 1953; she survives of the home. He lied in this area for most of his life. He was a member of the Richmond First Baptist Church. He worked for Trans World Airline for 37 years, retiring as an inspection supervisor in 1992. He was a member of the Ararat Shrine and the Tribe of Mic-o-Say. He was past patron of the Richmond Order of the Eastern Star, past worshipful master of the Richmond Masonic Lodge #57. He was a member of the Richmond I.O.O.F. Lodge, a member of the York Rite in Kansas City, a member of the American Legion Post. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was also a past Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop #324. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, McDavitt Rogers and Michael Rogers of Richmond, and Steven Rogers of Kansas City; two daughter, Dalana Fitzgerald of Richmond and LouAnn Crowley of Rayville; two sisters Beverly Gavidia of Miami, Fla., and Lila Molohan of Brooklyn, N.Y. and four grandchildren. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 16, at Thurman Chapel in Richmond. The Rev. Dallas Bundy will officiate. A military burial will be held in Richmond Memory Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at the chapel, where Masonic services will occur at 6:30 p.m. Pallbearers are Bob Chapman, Mike McCalley, Larry Maxwell, Robert Daniel, Bob Lauck and Jim Downs. Honorary pallbearers are Gene Parkes Kenneth Love, Jim Dunwoodie, Gene Roberts and Bill Stigall.
