Ray County, Missouri Obituaries - Lyman Hill Rowland Lyman Hill Rowland Clipping from old family scrap book; original marked Orrick Times L.H. Rowland Dead Mr. L.H. Rowland, one of Orrick's oldest and most highly esteemed citizens passed away this morning at his home in the southwest part of town, after several days illness from pneumonia and heart trouble. Mr. Rowland was a native of this county, a son of Jesse D. and Mary Rowland, early settlers of Ray county; and the greater portion of his life of 80 years was lived in the vicinity of his birth. He was united in marriage to Miss Frances Elizabeth McGlothlin, May 10th, 1866, who with four children, one son and three daughters survive. He had been a member of the Baptist church since his early manhood and through his long christian life, followed closely in the footsteps of the Master and was known throughout the country as a just and honorable man and citizen. Funeral services will be held at the Baptist church, Friday afternoon, conducted by Rev. W.C.
