Ray County, Missouri Obituaries - Robert "Bob" Elton Snowden (1929-1999) Robert "Bob" Elton Snowden, Sr. 70, of Overland Park, Kan. died Saturday, Oct. 23, 1999 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Kansas City, MO. Mr. Snowden was born July 25, 1929 to Robert C. and Blanche (Sisk) Snowden. He married Patricia Owen of Festus, Mo., on August 6, 1950; she survives of the home. Additional survivors include his mother, Mrs. Robert (Blanche) Snowden of Richmond; one son, Bob Snowden, Jr. of Springfield, Mo; one daughter, ann Moses of Overland Park, Kan.: one sister, Patti Bamman of Richmond; two grandchildren, Austin and Hudson Moses of Overland Park, Kan. Mr. snowden worked for Farmland Industries in the sales management department for 22 years before retiring. He was a member of the Leawood United Methodist Church. He had attended the University of Missouri, in Columbia, Mo., and graduated from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kan. He was a U. S. Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict. He had lived in Richmond, and the Kansas City area for the last 30 years. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Richmond United Methodist Church in Richmond, Mo., or the Leawood United Methodist Church in Leawood Kan. or the American Cancer Society. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 26, at 11:00 a. m. at the Richmond United Methodist Church. The Rev. Harold Gold, and Pastor Jerry Vogt will officiate. Burial will be in Richmond city Cemetery. Visitation Will be held Tuesday, Oct. 26, from 10:00 a. m. to 11:00a. m. at the Richmond United Methodist church. Pallbearers will be Ed Merrifield, Jack Revare, Henry Martz, Dr. Bud Bono, Porter Guttery and Dr. Paul Revare.
