C. Snowden, on East Lexington street, Monday morning , at 10:30 o'clock, after an illness of a week. Mrs. Snowden was 87 years of age, being born on January 28 1839. Although she had been in poor health for some time, due to heart trouble, Mrs. Snowden had been seriously ill only about a week. One son, Mr. I. C. Snowden survives. Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the home, conducted by Rev. Harry V. McCollock, pastor of the Presbyterian (sic) church, of which Mrs. Snowden was a member.
