Mr. James Searcy, one of Ray county’s old and highly esteemed citizens died at his home east of Vibbard, Tuesday evening, at 9 o’clock, at the age of 78 years, following a week’s illness of grip. He is survived by three sons, William of St. Joseph, and Dan and George of near Vibbard. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Joseph McAdams at Union church, yesterday afternoon.
