Ray County, Missouri Obituaries - Daniel Hudgins Tucker Daniel Tucker Dies At 73 Daniel Hudgins Tucker of Orrick died yesterday at Research Hospital in Kansas City following an illness of nearly two months. He was 73 years old. He was born on July 25, 1897 in Orrick, the son of Daniel Tucker of Ray County and Cora Hall (sic Hull) of Jackson County. A farmer, he had lived in the Ray County area all of his life. He was a member of the Orrick Christian Church. He was married to Edith Buist of Orrick in 1920. He is survived by his wife of the home; two sons, Daniel David Tucker, Wichita, Kansas and Charles Vernon Tucker, Kansas City; one daughter, Mrs. Jack (Pauline) Masters, Richmond; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Services will be held at 2 p.m. at Union Baptist Church on Thursday, the Rev. Wayne Smith officiating. Pallbearers will be Keith Gooch, E. L. Pigg, Clifton Moyer, Bob Pennington, Wilber Arnold and Jack Clark. Burial will be at Union cemetery.
