Ray County Conservator com. obit: Death of Mrs. Francis E. Taylor Died at her home in Richmond, on Sunday, February 24, 1895, at 2 o’clock p.m., Mrs. Frances E. Taylor, of stomach troubles, after a lingering illness of several months. The deceased was the only daughter of the late Isaac Duvall, on of the old settlers and highly respected men of Ray county, who moved from Culpepper county, Virginia, in the year 1844. She was born in Virginia and was only about 3 years old when her parents moved to Missouri. Her childhood days were spent on a farm with her parents near Millville. On the 10th day of February, 18-4, she was united in marriage with Dr. J. D. Taylor, since which time she has resided in Richmond. Of their union there was one child born to them, Carl D. Taylor, who with the father survive her. She also leaves two daughters, Leoridas Duvll and Joseph F. Duvall who reside here. Funeral services were held at her late home on Thurman avenues. Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock after which her remains were taken to the city cemetery. (missing) (resumes) those who knew her, that she was a follower of the Master. She was kind and gentle is disposition and charitable to the broadest sense of the term, a devoted wife and a loving and (-) mother and the place made vacant by her death will not only be felt in the happy home, but to the community where she resided so long.
