Ray County, Missouri Obituaries - Zimmerman, George A. d. April 20, 1920 b. about 1850 d. April 20, 1920 cem. Thomson Cemetery nee: pd. 1920 p. Lawson Review, Lawson, Missouri com. obit: Death of a Former Ray Countain. George A. Zimmerman, a well known citizen of Polo, died at his home, Tuesday morning, April 20, after several years of failing health. He was about seventy years old, and was born and lived in Ray county up until the last few years, having resided in Polo. Deceased was a man of many friends and a citizen that any community was made better by his living in it as he was a man of true character both morally religiously. Mr. Zimmerman leaves a wife, two daughters, Mary, of Polo, Mrs. Maude Watson, of Cowgill, and one son, Lawrence, who lives in Colorado. Funeral services were held Thursday morning at 11 o’clock at the Christian church in Polo.
